News of an Alexandra Burke sex tape hit the Sunday tabloid headlines the day after 20 year old Alexandra made it through to the The X Factor final. Popular News of the World tabloid broke the story of a sex tape featuring X Factor favourite Alexandra Burke and her former lover D'Andre West.

West had a meeting with reporters from the News of the World earlier and tried to sell the sex tape. The tape is alleged to feature 'full sex and another sex act' reports the NOTW. D'Andre West is quoted as saying “I want to make some money. . . I'm not interested in anything less than £100,000. If she becomes a big star this is easily worth that. She strips, we have sex, you can see everything.” According to the report West has video taped Alex twice when they were having sex. The News of the World has paid no money to West.

Singer Alexandra Burke and D'Andre West were together for 2 years and the tapes were made when she was 18 years old.

Alexandra Burke is one of the final 3 contestants on The X Factor after auditioning with thousands of other contestants across the country for a place in the live shows. Her mentor in this series of The X Factor is Cheryl Cole, who is in charge of the girl groups. Previously in 2005, Alexandra auditioned and got through to the 'Judges' Houses ' stages before her then mentor, Louis Walsh decided she was still too young and didn't let her go any further.
